Bio
Tom Bjoraker (BEE-york-ER) has many years of experience playing in multiple types of ensembles, including Orchestra, Band, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, World Percussion Ensemble, Marching Band, Jazz Combos, and Rock Bands. As far as semi-professional ensembles go, Tom has performed with the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra and Juilien Wind Ensemble. In June 2018 the Juilien Wind Ensemble were invited to play at Carnegie Hall, an invitation no musician would ever ignore.
Ever since Tom was eleven years old he has been playing percussion and composing, both in and out of school. Throughout his formative years Tom was a member of both the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Oregon High School Marching Band. He studied privately under multiple instructors including Paul Seitz, Vicki Jenks, Nathaniel Bartlett, David Henzie-Skogen, Tom Ross, Robert Rosen, Ryan Korb and Sean Connors.
Tom is a University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point graduate, receiving a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance in 2014. At the time he was involved with the Central Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra, Calumet Art Center New Music Concerts, Very Young Composers of Central Wisconsin, and the Central Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra Program.
Tom taught privately in Wisconsin from 2010 to 2019 and in Colorado from 2019 to the present. He currently teaches music at the Marble Charter School and is also taking on private students in the Crystal River and Roaring Fork Valleys.
In his spare time Tom composes and performs music. His current compositions can be found under Th30ldman and featured tracks with Insergent on most services. He currently plays piano for Wooden Rock, a local classic rock and Americana band out of Marble, CO, and drums for the Rolling Stones tribute band Emotional Rescue out of Carbondale, CO. He has performed at the Marble Gem and Mineral Show, MarbleFest, and The Arts Center at Willits (TACAW). Please check in regularly for examples of new projects or collaborations.

Tom offers private lessons to aspiring musicians who live in the Crystal River and Roaring Fork Valleys in Colorado.
Tom primarily teaches in Marble, CO, and can commute to the student's address for lessons. He also can provide instruments for any lesson which currently includes Drum Set, Conga, Djembe, Marimba, Xylophone, Vibraphone, and more!
Studio Rates
$30 for a 30 minute lesson
$60 for a 60 minute lesson
Local discounts are available for residents of Marble, Redstone and students enrolled with the Marble Charter School.
Lessons are by appointment only and are purchased in monthly packages.
